A very special inaugural event offered by our sponsor hotel. Together with the Plunkett Fowles Winery, the Imperial (Bourke St) is hosting a wine dinner for players, members and friends of Melbourne Uni Rugby. 4 different wines will be on offer, with a Plunkett Fowles wine expert on hand to guide you through the wine and its heritage. The wines will be chosen specifically to accompany a sumptuous 3-course meal made in house by the Imperial.

The dinner will be held upstairs at the Imperial Hotel (Bourke St) on Saturday 17th July, starting from 7pm. Tickets are $60 each or 2 for $100, and can be ordered by emailing murfcsocial@hotmail.com

Due to the recent heavy rains there are no grounds available this weekend. Therefore the 13th Shaw Cup match originally scheduled for Fawkner Park has been cancelled.

There are no senior games for MURFC this weekend due to it being the Queen’s Birthday weekend. Normal league rugby will resume next week.

The St Kevin’s College Rugby Association presents The President’s Lunch to be held on Saturday 5th June 2010 with guest speaker, former Wallaby Coach John Connolly.

Spend an afternoon in the company of the former Wallaby Coach.

Hear some of the views on Rugby today and great battle stories.

12:45pm The President’s Lunch commences in the K C Smith Hall, St Kevin’s College Toorak

This is the major fundraising event for St Kevin’s Rugby in 2010 – your participation is welcomed and appreciated. An auction featuring sporting memorabilia and other valued items will be held.

Ticket price is $75 per adult and $35 per student, and includes a fully catered lunch with wine, beer and soft drinks – cheaper if you book and pay online. Tickets are limited.

The Victorian Rugby Team invite you to Sandown Park to come and support the National Division 1 and Division 2 Championship teams as they raise funds for their upcoming tours.

The fundraising dinner for Victorian Junior Rugby is to be held at Sandown Greyhound Racing Club (Lightwood Road, Springvale), Thursday 29 April. Start 6.30pm, First race is 7pm, last race is 10.30pm.

Tickets are $50 per person for a four course buffet meal, and all entertainment on the night. There will be a cash bar. Guest speakers include Damien Hill, Assistant Coach Melbourne Rebels, and will entertain you and keep you informed about recent Rugby news.
