Club Information

Training

Training is at 6:30 PM sharp Tuesdays and Thursdays either at Melbourne University RFC in Royal Park, at the Melbourne University Gym (Tuesdays pre-season only) and Princes Park (Thursday’s pre-season only).
Come down earlier for a game of touch and a warm up.

Selection

The following are to be contacted if players are unable to attend training or if players will be late for training in accordance with Club Brief and Teams Selection Policy:

Please make contact with your team coach in the first instance and others if you are unsuccessful.

Do not jeopardise selection by failing to let someone at the club know of your inability to attend training or fixtures!

MU Club Fit: Melbourne University Sport offers deals to access the strength and fitness gym and swimming pool. It has to be done in batches of 10 people. Match Day

  • Players should be at their ground at least 45 min before kick-off.
  • For strapping go into the changing sheds early and see the physio or trainer.
  • Team warm up is imperitive so all players should be out of the sheds at least 25 min before kickoff.
  • Players are expected to stay and support the next grades. 3rd Grade Black will reserve for 2nd Grade and 2nd Grade/selected Colts will reserve for 1st Grade.
  • Dress: All players to be in 2008 club socks and shorts for fixtures. Warm ups to be conducted in 2008 training shirts. Club merchandise is also be available for purchase after training. Please support the club and wear either the clubs polo or chambray shirt and track suit top to games.
