New Players

All University students (Melbourne, Monash, RMIT, TAFEs, etc ..) and non-students are welcome to play with us. Pre-season training for 2011 commences on 17 Jan 2012.  The Club will train from 6:30pm on Tuesdays or Thursdays at Royal Park, with further details provided in the News Pages in the New Year.

Subs – How Much and What You Get for Your Dollar

2012 Membership fees are $280 for players, $160 for Full-time students and concession players and $100 for supporter (non-playing) members.

This gives you access to a physio at training sessions, medical/physio support during the games and substantial gear.  The gear includes socks, shorts and a winter warm-up smock to the value of over $100 !  The fees also cover ARU registration, medical insurance and subsidised meals in the Clubhouse during the season after training.

MURFC will be initiating a  “no pay, no play” policy in 2012, with all players expected to have paid part of their subs by no later than Round 1.   This will be heavily monitored by all coaches and managers in Season 2012.

How Do I Pay ?

Simply down load and fill in the Club Registration form HERE.  Then when you are at training, give the form to your coach or the Club registrar as follows:

  • Players need to give these forms to Scott Baguley, Saman Kodituwakku, Dave Phillips or a committee member or a Team Manager on training days.
